Refund policy


At Tasty Durian, our products are frozen and perishable food items. For food safety and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, personal taste preference, or orders that were stored or handled improperly after delivery or self-collection.

1. No returns for change of mind

We do not accept returns or offer refunds if:

  • you change your mind after placing an order
  • you no longer want the item
  • you decide you do not like the taste or texture
  • the product was not stored in the freezer promptly after delivery or self-collection
  • the product was thawed, partially consumed, or mishandled after receiving it

2. If there is a problem with your order

Please contact us as soon as possible if:

  • you received the wrong item
  • your item is missing
  • your order arrives seriously damaged
  • your product arrives in a clearly compromised condition

To help us assess the issue quickly, please contact us on the same day of receipt or collection with:

  • your order number
  • a description of the issue
  • clear photos of the item, packaging, and label

3. Refunds or replacements

If we confirm that there is an issue with the order, we may, at our discretion, offer one of the following:

  • a replacement
  • a partial refund
  • a full refund
  • store credit

The remedy offered will depend on the nature of the issue.

4. Non-returnable items

For food safety reasons, we do not accept physical returns of frozen food products once they have been delivered or collected, unless we specifically request otherwise.

5. Order cancellations

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as early as possible.

Orders may only be cancelled before preparation, packing, or dispatch has started. Once your order has been prepared, packed, dispatched, or is already ready for self-collection, it is generally non-cancellable and non-refundable.

If a cancellation is accepted, any refund issued may be subject to deduction of non-recoverable payment processing or administrative costs where applicable.

6. Failed delivery or missed self-collection

Please ensure that someone is available to receive the order during the selected delivery window, or that self-collection is made during the selected collection window.

We are not responsible for product deterioration resulting from:

  • unsuccessful delivery due to incorrect address or contact details
  • no recipient being available
  • delayed response from the customer
  • late self-collection
  • failure to store the product properly after receipt

In such cases, refunds or replacements may not be provided.

7. Quality concerns

As durian is a natural ingredient, slight variation in colour, aroma, texture, and intensity may occur from batch to batch. Such natural variation does not qualify as a defect, return, or refund.

8. Consumer rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable Singapore consumer protection law.
